Born In Greenville SC, It Wasn't Hard To Tell that Laquail{[Now Known As YKIR aka YouKnowItzRich]} was destined for something greater than the poverty that surrounded him. YKIR moved from Westview Holmes project housing to a middle class neighborhood in Athens GA with his step-father at the age of 5. As YKIR got older his love for entertainment grew. Unfortunately so did his criminal record. YKIR was first incarcerated at the age of 10 in Athens Youth Detention Center. It would be here that he would first discover his passion for music. YKIR would sit around the table where the older kids would be beating and rapping songs o each other. YKIR soon transitioned from watching to participation in the sessions. The other kids told him he had real talent for his age and were amazed at how easily could come up with hooks and songs in a matter of minutes. Over the years YKIR would face more trials and tribulations{[The death of his sister]}{[A failed relationship with his step-father]}{[His mothers constant struggle with drug addiction]}{[And the loss of loved ones to the streets and jail]} But all these obstacles only proved to be fuel to the fire that is YKIR. Today he resides in Greenville SC and continues his dreams in entertainment with his own company{[BRAND850]}. His company specializes in Music,Television,Movies,Dance,and any form of art ant entertainment.
